The Woods Valley Snow Sports School is looking forward to another fun filled season for both adults and children. If you are considering getting your children started in skiing and boarding now is the time. The Mountain Kids Program is a great starter for skiers ages 4-7. The Mountain Explorers program is a good next step program for kids ages 4-7 who can ride the lift with a partner. These classes are limited in space and fill up quickly, so give our school a call and we’ll send you an application. The Mountain Boarding Program is also a great starter for the young snowboarders ages 6 and up. These programs run for five weeks each. If you miss the first session there is a second session that starts in
February, but space is limited so act fast!

We also have a number of children and adult programs that run for a portion of or the entire season. If you ever wanted to try snowboarding or skiing, then try our Beginner Special that includes a Group Lesson, Rental of the equipment and Lift Ticket for Easy Acres. The Snowsports School has daily group lessons for ages 6 and up and private and semi-private lessons for ages 4 and up by appointment. If you or your child were enrolled in a program last season, you will be receiving new material from our school. If you are new to our program and would like registration materials or information, please call the Snowsports School office at 315- 827-4104. You may also visit with us and register for  programs during the season pass sales this fall at the lodge.

For those who might be interested in being paid while doing something that you love, you might consider instructing. Instructor training starts in November. Employment applications are available at our lodge or give our school a call.
